1. Who we are

This website is operated by Royal Décor & Turfs (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2019/240943/07), a supplier and installer of artificial grass and outdoor surfaces in Gauteng, South Africa (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the responsible party for the personal information you share with us.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical data needed to run the website:

• Quote requests: your name, surname, phone number, email address (optional), suburb or area, the service you need, the approximate project size and any message you add.
• Direct contact: anything you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as photos of your space or site details.
• Project records: if you become a client, your installation address, quotation, invoice and payment details.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site working.

This website does not use cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking, and all fonts and images are served from our own website.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To arrange site visits, deliveries and installations.
• To invoice, keep business and tax records, and honour warranties and guarantees.
• To keep the website secure and working properly.

We process your information because you have asked us to (your consent when submitting the form), to take steps towards or carry out a contract with you, or to meet our legal obligations. We will not send you marketing messages unless you agree to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it where needed with:

• our website hosting provider;
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), which securely delivers website form submissions to our inbox;
• Google (Gmail), which we use to manage our business email;
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp;
• installers and suppliers working on your project, limited to what they need to do the job;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on providers that are bound by data-protection laws or agreements offering protection comparable to POPIA.

5. How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Client and financial records are kept for as long as the law requires (generally five years) and for the length of any warranty on your installation.

6. How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries and client records is limited to the people who need them. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete your information;
• object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent;
• opt out of any marketing communication;
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

To make a request, email sales@royaldecorandturfs.co.za. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

Our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Links to other sites

Links to WhatsApp or other websites are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
